The staff is extremely rude. They are not very cordial, they serve you without a smile, yet they still expect a tip? They are too busy talking with their friends that come in and see them rather than serve the real customers. I‘ll give you a hint: If you want more tips ... smile a little more often ...
Horrible staff. Too small of bar with too many people. Takes an hour for 1 drink! HORRIBLE!
Rod and Holly are great hosts - We started dining there in the spring of 2009. Great bacon wrapped tenderloin steaks, and my favorite is the crusted halibut. They have live local music weekends starting at 7 for us older folks. A lot of locals eat here, I‘ve never been disappointed with their food. It‘s like you‘re stepping into a 1940s saloon with interesting stuff nailed to the walls and ceiling. Great place to have fun, dry camping is free in the back 40, open at 11 am every day.
The food here was quite good. We had the Oysters Rockefeller and the Bison Sirlion. We went on a Saturday night, and the place seemed to be doing a booming business. We were seated right away, though, and attended to immediately. The server may have been new, for she couldn‘t answer some simple questions about the menu, but she was honest about not knowing and was expedient with the food and drinks. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. A bit pricier than your franchise establishments, but well worth it.
If you like salty food, go here. Nice family atmosphere.
