If you like salty food, go here. Nice family atmosphere.
Great bar. Friendly staff, and great music. The DJ (Tonto) makes this bar/club one of the best in Cheyenne with his superb choice in music, and playful banter.
best food for the money i have found recently!- love the old style atmosphere- and the music is great! Where else can you go and have live music on the weekends? I thought this kid of club dissapeared when my folks were my age- this place rocks!
The Pie Lady has singularly made Cheyenne a destination for this Denver-area dweller. It‘s American food at its utmost best with freshly prepared selections made from good quality ingredients. The menu is simple and straightforward, sandwiches, salads, soups and hot specials, with a few nods to new American tastes. The pies are heavenly, with the finest crust I‘ve ever seen (better than my own!!!), being flavorful, flaky and impossibly thin. The creams are lightly sweet and just creamy enough without being overly rich. Flavors are perfectly balanced. I noticed a nicely stocked specialty coffee counter to help perpetuate that great American tradition of pie and coffee. All this a cute apron collection on the walls, too!
I was very pleasantly surprised with Avanti. As a Chicagoan, I was leery about an Italian restaurant in Wyoming. I needn‘t have feared.
The food was great. The wine was good, although I was put off by the "sparkling" lambrusco. Avanti appears to be primarily a buffet style but menu service is also available. The flavor is a pleasant mix of Neopolitan, Romance, Florentine and Caprizio. Everything would rank as "above average" but nothing stuck out as "spectacular" ... except the service. Our server was there when we needed her and "not there" when we didn‘t. There isn‘t the constant interruption of "how is everything" every five minutes. Non alcoholic beverages were kept full without notice.
